Scott Roberts //
Experienced video editor
providing fast and friendly work
I have been part of the video industry for nearly 18 years, mostly working in the corporate world, despite the fact that I often edit in a t-shirt and basketball shorts (from home, at least). I started as an assistant editor fresh-out-of-college and worked my way up to a regular editor, ultimately growing into a fully independent freelance editor. I have cut documentaries, promo pieces, weddings, highlights videos, podcasts, and even a short horror film, amongst other things.
I have had the great opportunity to work with a number of well-known international and national companies, as well as smaller clients, including: Amtrak, PepsiCo, Medela, Walgreens, BMO Harris, Lions Clubs International, Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Independent Grocers Alliance (IGA), Carl Buddig, Nikola, CompTIA, AMEC, Ascensus, AMA, Vizient, UHC, PRIME TSR, Foxbox Digital, Suzy, Mutt Jackson, Sapphire, and Long Island University, to name a few. I also edited a 2 and 1/2 hour long documentary of my wife's family's plethora of home video tapes, which may have been my most strenuous project to date.
I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University, where I majored in movies (Bachelor's in Cinema, if you want to be fancy.) I enjoy watching films, playing video games, and spending time with my wife, son, daughter, and dog. I live in Illinois, but can work remotely for just about anybody (and have done work on location in other states and countries as well!)
